Mini Honeymoon... Bkk

Gosh.. we woke up at 4am to catch our flight at 630am... It's our first time taking flight together and I really look forward going to a place we both have not gone before (well, tt time I was there was just a day.. not counted as I din see much)...

After check-in, we had Mac's breakkie and took some pics before we board the flight. It's Dear first time boarding the flight via the apron.. he was amazed... Wow.. flight's full and we din get the window seat so we slept all the way there...

Our agent picked us up and wheee... we're on the way to our hotel.. When we first saw our hotel, we fell in love, it was really beautiful and new. Yeah, we managed to check-in our room early and we're the first user of the room after its renovation which just completed the day before...

The room was really lovely... view was good and the bathroom was the best.. so kinky with see thru glass from the bedroom... Not wasting time, we immediately went to check out the world out there...

Day 1 :
We went to MBK for shopping and brought quite a no. of Dear's stuff.. Tailor there was not tt cheap so we bought off the rack suit and shirt for Dear. Then we went Platinum which is the furthest from our Hotel and pit stop Siam Paragon for lunch. Platinum was so big and so many stalls with cheaper price... we bought quite a few too.. Then we pop by Central to check out the place... and I brought Dear to pray at the 4 Faced Buddha back to MBK for dinner...

Day 2 :
Woke up at 6am for the breakfast and Dear loved the food so much but din have much as we're rushing for our Day Trip. We went to take the River City boat, then to Wat Arun, jewellery factory and honey factory. Last stop was 4 Faced Buddha so I prayed together with Dear this time. We pop by Central again for Mac Pork Burger for lunch and started our shopping again at Platinum... oh my.. this time rnd, Platinum seems to be different as we can't see the same shop as yesterday... haha... We have a special program tonite with is the special show and off we went... the place was really sleazy looking like, this we're at the same place as the Tai Tai has gone... The show was simply amazing.. and eye opener... it's our first and the last time i guess.. ;-) Then we ask the agent to bring us to Chinatown and we had the roadside shark fins and hong kong noodles.. it was the best noodles we had... oops.. it's drizzling so we hurried back to hotel...

Day 3 : Woke up ard 8am again for breakfast and Dear had his share to the max and was simply satisfied just like a kid.. haha.. We travelled from National Stadium to Mo Chit station to Chaktuchap.. oh my.. it's so hot that I bought a hat. Clothes there was not as cheap as Platinum so we skipped it and we focused on the puppies area... they are simply so cute.. and we bought lotsa treats for Miko cos it was extreme cheap... she must be happy! We went MBK to look for the goodies... For dinner, of cos we went Chinatown again but this time we tried the restaurant... the birds nest had lotsa white fungus in it.. sigh.. hong kong noodles was not as good as the roadside though...

Day 4 :
Quite sad we're leaving today but it was a very satisfying trip that we both had the "willing" feeling to return to our home... 4D3N was just perfect for first timer but if we're here again, probably 3D2N will do. We slowly enjoyed our last breakfast and we pop by MBK for the Thai massage and Dear enjoyed it alot. We did our last shopping and managed to get all the outstanding stuff... so satisfying! After check-out at 2pm, we lazed ard the coffee lounge till 430pm for our agent to pick us up to the airport. Our flight was delayed for 1hr 15mins and we're bored to the core.. just hanged ard a cafe. Managed to get the windows seat this time but it's dark so we end up dozing off our way back home. After packing our stuff, we're both so hungry and we had our supper at 3am and immediately dozed off right after...

It was a wonderful honeymoon even though we walked and walked till our legs and feets sore like crazy... most impt is spending private couple time together and create bonding between us so that we can spend the rest of our live together happily...

Looking forward to our next honeymoon.. Maldives if possible... and followed by our yearly honeymoon...

With this Ring, I Marry You...

Today is an anxious day for both of us.. it's our Solemnisation @ Peony-Jade Clarke Quay. Initially wanted to have it simple at the Registry of Marriage but I wanted all our immediate to attend so we had it at a restaurant for lunch instead.

Woke up really early and Dear dressed up and we got ready to Style Bridal.. Eileen was late for 15 mins (9.45am) and I was really worried... our event starts at 11.30am... minus of the half an hour journey there.. we left only 1 hr 15mins..

Eileen immediately got started of my make-up.. feels weird slapping sucha thick stuff on my face, so not used to it and especially this is the first time Dear see my having this make-up.. wonder what will he thinks... next is my hairdo.. she just clip here, clip there and viola! It's done! I'm done in abt half n hr and I'm surprised.. my Tai Tais was saying it takes about 2 hrs...

I asked Dear, so how do I look? He said nice and I should put up make-up more often. He likes my eyes most saying it's very nice... but it's fake eyelashes leh... Eileen helped me with my gown and I love the final product so much!! She alternate the double-sided tape with her own way of tying... PERFECT!

Next is Dear's turn for slight make-up and some colour on his hair... cool.. first time seeing Dear having make-up on him.. heehee... so Girly... Ok! We're all done and oh.. not forgetting the hand bouquet we got it last evening.. Eileen sprayed some water and it and it's fine...

It was smooth till now.. we reached on time, Mr Goh, our solemnisor arrived shortly and we started our ceremony right after... we were anxious and serious over it... and we listened carefully to Mr Goh... and we ended it with a Kiss... muacks! We're husband and wife now... it's a new life to look forward together...

Lunch was great too... food was not bad at least... and lastly I had a surprise from Dear.. a birthday cake.. It's my first time celebration with all my family members since I had nieces nephews.. and with my new family members... Everyone enjoyed the cake so much.. it was really good...

Blessed that the whole event went well smoothly and glad that both our family members witness our solemnisation. This is all we need...

Mr & Mrs Goh

Finally we are down to last 5 days before out ROM on 1st Oct and our mini honeymoon to Bangkok on 2nd Oct.

After much searching and discussions, we finally decide to hold our solemnisation at Peony Jade Restuarant. We wanted to hold our wedding there too much due to the limited tables available, we had to switch to PinSi at Yishun Safra.

Feel so nervous about that day and so excited about putting on our wedding bands. Its going to be a new chapter of our life. Life is so full of micracles... A love letter wrote 17years back got us together now after one big round...

Perhaps its a test of time fate put us through and I am sure we will do our very best to walk through the rest of our life together.

Si Dian Jin and Jia Zhuang

We settled our Si Dian Jin last nite... managed to get yellow gold and mixture of yellow gold and white gold.. overall my focus was on the ring. Same as Dear, we both only know how to choose ring and not the others.. the others as long nice then its ok with both of us... but my the other focus is pendant...

Today went with mom to get my earrings.. no need to select again, i just asked for the same design as my own ring and that is.. we bought it on the spot. Didn't know Destinee is so well packaged. The whole thing came with the scope, a very nice box, laminated cert in a booklet.. so nice.. this makes me think of when will I received my BIG Destinee from Dear... *cough cough*

NS Line, NE Line, Circle Line, EW Line ~ all in 1 evening

Was going home from office just now and realised that there seems to be some problem in Raffles so din wanna waste time and thought of taking train to Outram >> Douby Ghaut >> AMK. But halfway down the journey decided not to take risk at Douby Ghaut so end up Outram >> Serangoon >> Bishan >> AMK ~ took me an hour journey..

Lucky at this critical hour I had my ipod with me, not the music but the movies I recently convert to mp4 format.. now then i realised the importance of ipod.. maybe I shld seriously consider Iphone...

Ha! Didn't expect myself to take all the LINES within an hour just to get home... got kindy pissed off and moody so end up doing pedicure at AMK hub while waiting for Mom to knock off...

Our 1st Paintball

We both always wanted to play paintball but never had that chance and finally we had our day today... Was cracking our heads what to wear to protect ourselves and Dear decided to wear his No.4 uniform and I managed to wear his smaller size No.4 pants and a top I bought together with Ger @ Uni GLO.

Was really excited over this game and many pple been saying you'll get bruises, injured urself, maybe cuts etc.. scary!! When we reached the place and saw the paintball, it's so tiny like a marbles and when we heard the gun shooting.. OMG! SCARY!! Was telling Dear I think I'll play only 1 game and no more.. but end up Dear was laughing at me for playing throughout the 2 games... But I just couldn't resist the fun mah.... humph!

For this game and to make it more fun, Ger and I purposely separate all the couples so we are left alone to protect ourselves.

During the game I keep seeing Dear reaching for the ammo box and I tried aiming at him when he was running back to home base with all his might.. but stupid me, I just can get his butt! sharks!

It was really an enjoyable game that cost 20 bucks per game for each of us but it was simply worth it!

End of the game, I only had 1 bruise but Dear had plenty.. 8 in total plus 1 small little pao on his head.. poor thing...

Even though we're injured, I'm sure we'll be back!!

Dear : *Dear never heard of this and dunno what he had ordered* You have the PO no?

Dear : So short ah? Not start with SWD meh?

Dear : Ok, I check with my clerk first.
Shop : *Clerk?? Didn’t know got people order a bed for the office!!* Ok…
Dear : *Went to the clerk* Can you check this order POXXXXX? Can you find out the PR raised by who and what is the item?
Clerk : Errr.. don’t have this order at all.
Dear : *Went to his boss* Did we order any PU Bag??
Boss : What is it?? Don’t think so.
Dear : *Went online and research on PU Bag and found out it’s something like a A4 folder*
Dear : Hello, is the PU Bag A4 size? What’s the quantity?
Shop : No lah, not A4. It’s very big. One only.
Dear : Ok, I check again.
Dear : Hello, the PO is attention to who again?
Shop : Mr Alson
Dear : What is your company name? Deliver to where?
Shop : XXX company. Deliver to Yishun
Dear : Orh, you delivering a BED huh??
Shop : Ah.. yes.
Dear : Ok, yah I ordered it.
Shop : Ok, just to confirm this order and we delivering tomorrow btw 12 to 2pm.

I almost died from laughter when Dear told me this!! Didn’t expect him to disturb the whole office just becos of our bed… Told Dear I’m not gonna be around when they deliver tmr. He shall go entertain the delivery… hahaha…

ROM registration

The long waited day has arrived. We were told by friends to get ready at 12am to book our date 1 Oct. So we tested the registration form and got stucked at one part on “lawful impediment”, we looked at each other wondering what’s that.. and we gotta google for it.. haha.. By the time we are done, seems like there’s only afternoon time slot so no choice and click Submit! Viola! It’s finally settled! Dear has booked me today and I’ve booked him today, we left 3 months of singlehood to enjoy till our BIG DAY! So excited…

Suddenly realized our ROM is pretty meaningful. Date is my 30th Birthday with Dear’s 30 small little diamond wedding band and the Time is actually Miko’s Brithday! Simply Perfect!

The Proposal

Hmm.. few days back Dear said he has something planned today, which makes me wonder what is it. Oh, actually we’re going for picnic at Yishun Dam. Dear picked me from office, we went to order our BBQ Chicken Canadian Pizza. While waiting we realized we ordered the wrong set, end up paying more for lesser food.. so we bought some Mac nuggets to top it off.. So off we go! After we found a good spot, Dear asked me to stay in the car saying he has a surprise and even used my shawl to cover my eyes.. haha.. I’m suspecting something…
Dear brought out a BIG BIG bouquet for Red Roses.. and I was shocked! Was amazed by the bouquet and didn’t expect Dear to be so romantic. Dear asked me Will I marry Him so I put out my left hand to tease Dear and asked Where is my Ring? I know he will give me when I want it..

So we sealed the proposal of 99 Red Roses with a kiss.. Muacks!!

Picnic was good and Dear brought our Champagne Martini Rossi Asti for celebration and even the wine glass! It was almost perfect till when we are about to leave.. I suddenly felt giddy and started puking and spoilt the whole atmosphere.. oops.. so embarrassing… Dear said it’s my last time having our Champagne..

2009 IT Show

It's our 2nd IT show.. last yr we went to get Samsung 32 inch TV for my mom this year.. Dear getting a camera for his mom. We decided not to drive there as the carpark is always full.

Wow the MRT is packed with pple from AMK all the way to Suntec City.. took us a while to squeeze through the crowd..

Finally, we decided to have Tony Roma's for lunch as everywhere are packed. Yummy, Dear commented the food was really good and worth it. It's his first time here.. we had a jug of coke, potato skins, Carolina Honey's Ribs with Chicken Breast and Tony Roma's Red Hot Ribs with Fish. My gosh, the portion for lunch is as big as the dinner.. we ordered too much again. I only managed to eat the potato skins and ribs.. the rest it's all eaten up by my "rubbish bin" gobble..gobble.. gobble.. this meal cost us 91 bucks! Faint!!

Ok time to exercise and squeeze. Samsung camera was not bad, we found one that is simple to use for Dear's mom and orginal price was 329 and we got it at only 240! We are looking for a 3-in-1 printer but couldn't find a good one as was it was out of stock.

Mr Mahjong joined us as he just dock off for a day and he was having headache cos of the crowd and end up with nothing..

Shit! As we reached our car, the 2 men noticed the "Mugen" tag was being stolen. Dunno which idiot did that!! Not gonna park there anymore...

Dear's mom quite like the camera i think cos she commented the colour of the photo was good. In fact, I feel it's much better than my Sony T100! Probably the optical zoom and macro was not as good as Sony that's all but overall I think it's worth the buy!

Let's see what we'll get from here next year!

Long waited issue to resolve...

Finally the issue that I always wanted it to be resolved is done. I should be feeling over the moon but weird.. I don't feel any happiness at all. Somehow I don't feel anything. I guess it took too long, dragged too long, too many quarrels between us that I can't feel anything at all...

Wedding Banquet

We both actually do not want to have a wedding banquet at all. Dear's dad says still need to fetch the bride, Dear said it's funny if both sides family just had the buffet at the his and my house and that's it.. So we decided to have the wedding banquet.

The Glamour Bash we attended said must remember to "Have Fun" during the preparation but I felt quite tired actually. Running around to check out the venue, calling to ask for more details and negotiation and surfing the net for the packages.. this is not fun at all. Think we started the research since early May and till now we have not finalised as both of us couldn't come to a conclusion.

I hope we both can finalise on a venue we both like that is within our budget, reasonable ambience and food is good.

Science Centre

Kids are having their holidays soon so I decided to kick start their first holidays activity - Science Centre. Took the corporate pass and entrance for 7 adults and 7 kids are all free!

Dear tagged along and it's his 1 time since his last visit when he was primary... gosh.. he's so old now I feel.. cos it's been donkey years.. muahahaha...

Somehow it's Dear and me strolling by ourselves and we went to have our breakfast. There was a place where I was quite engrossed in taking the photos of the water droplets and felt someone was pushing my ankle with the baby pram so I just moved my feet. Next I heard Jovina and Jolie's voice and haha.. these 2 kids and their mom are just behind us pushing their kids on the toy car.. can tell the kids enjoyed it so much.

Hmm .. time for Omni theatre so Dear and I brought Kylie, Shermain, Jonas and Lynese along but end up the show was quite boring and tiring for our necks...

Nothing much to do so we left.. don't think we'll come back here till the next 10 yrs maybe?

Champions Court

Hmmm.. after receiving the detailed package from HDB, we are quite excited that we went Mac @ AMK Garden to do a detailed study of the house and prioritise our selection.

It was quite tough as I'm particular over the West sun and Dear is particular over units near to the 1 Bedroom..

Finally we came out our list and all we need is to wait for our appt..

Miko the Thief!!

We just stocked up some stuff for Miko especially her treats. As we brought the stuff home and left it in my room, next we heard some plastic sound and we caught our gal stealing.. hahaha... she's damn funny lor!!

Our 1st Dating Anniversary

Wooh.. time flies.. it's been a year we've dated. Was thinking hard what to do to make this day special so decided to make a card that looks like a story book with our photos and little story of them... which took me few days to do it as it requires some inspirations.. heehee..

Was at work today and suddenly received a call from a colleague asking me to go to the lobby saying there's bouquet for me - Perfect Love. Haha.. I didn't know he would sent it to my office, thought he'll give it to me tonight... hmmm.. As I took over the bouquet from the uncle, few colleagues saw me and was "wowing".. non-stop. This is so embarrassing so I acted cool and keep saying "it's not mine lah"... as I quietly walked to my desk, left the flowers on my desk, acted blur and carry on working...


Gosh.. that moment, I didn't even take a good look at the flowers.. but I know they are white tulips.. whee... was so happy!! Was trying to call Dear but end up he acted BLUR asking "what happened"? I keep asking him to admit it but he simply refused till I he said he's not the one who sent me the bouquet and I immediately replied "Not you? Good ah! That means I still have suitors around" and he was like "Huh? What good ah!"

Asked Jeeves to take some pics for me for memory and I really love this bouquet alot cos it's simply too beautiful... and Dear got me the flowers I want...

Meeting Dear for dinner so I brought the bouquet along to show me and he likes it too saying it's his first time seeing a tulip... and I can tell he's quite proud of what he had just spent.. kekeke...

You wanted to have a crab feast so I brought you to Mellben @ AMK. We had a medium size female chilli crab cos you wanna eat her EGGS and small size male black pepper crab. It's our first time have dinner with crab only and we enjoyed it so much that we are filled all the way to our nose... heehee...

Our Wedding Ring

Today we decided to buy our wedding ring since we roughly know what design we want and also we can save 200 bucks with the voucher we had from the Glamour Bash.

We went window shopping @ Causeway Point one last time see if there's any new design or at least filter some that we like. Goldheart has Dear's favourite unique design. But the ring picture is not posted on their website else I can show you what he likes... It's nice but too bad my hands are really small, it looks kinda "rough" on me as the band thickness was pretty thick.

Our final stop was Lee Hwa. We viewed Dear's favourite unique design again but end up we both selected this as it's comfort fit design, suits my small hand.

I can say that I set my eyes on this design since day 1 and really feel in love with it. Just that I felt Dear's design was pretty plain. Also we do not want to have 2 different design. Dear knows I like this design alot, so he gave in to me saying "I'm ok with my design lah, anyway men's ring are normally plain one". Thanks Dear... I Love You... Muacks!

These are some design we set our eyes on too. This one is really unique as the ROM date are captured as the design of the ring. It was pretty ex like 3k a pair? Not worth right?


We also like this pair as it shows a heart shape when you put them together. Too bad... Dear's bro ring is this pair.. we can't be getting the same design bah...

We are 2 steps nearer to our big day now...

Glamour Bash 2009

This is Yasmine, the host for this year Glamour Bash and she's wearing her wedding evening gown.. Elegant and I love that Red..
Took some pics for ourselves.. we hardly dressed up during the weekend and this is the 1st time we both put in the effort to dress up.. Nice..

Finally the day is here.. I’m getting more excited esp after we signed up the bridal package… and this is our first so called “fashion show” we’ve been. Iyo so many bridal booths.. wonder how good are the packages but all we did was just to screen through their album.. we started strolling and came to see a very nice ballroom beautifully lit up and it seems to attract us to it… when we first stepped in, it was really stunning. We both love the VIP 20 guests table. This was something unique and never seen before.

Sharks!! As we went in to the fashion show venue, it’s packed.. no good seats left.. was quite disappointed cos I’ve prepared my camera but we couldn’t take good shots. So we just enjoyed the showcase of the Bridal gowns… seems like most of it are tube design but I fell in love with the halter design. There are some that has really beautiful design… now I really wished that I can find my dream gown from Style.. hope they don’t disappoint me…

Right after the showcase, pple started walking off and we were wondering why.. actually these pple started queuing for the high tea buffet outsite.. typical Singaporeans… haha.. end up Dear and I also joined the queue.. kekeke.. The food was so so only but Dear really enjoyed himself as his main objective here today is the buffet.. pig!! Oink! Oink!

P/S : Dawn complimented the services in Swissotel was extremely good for her wedding. She really enjoyed her big day to be held there… Cool… see if Dear and I are fated with our wedding dinner stop again… heehee..

Style Bridal & Beauty

Yesterday while Dear went to take a leak I happened to see a Bridal booth so got curious thinking that there are some bridal show so I stepped in and had a 2 mins chat with a Wedding Planner saying she’ll provide all the guide for us FOC etc, not hearing exactly what she’s saying we rushed off for Joey Yung’s concert.

Today we went back again.. Hmm.. seems like it’s not a bridal show.. it’s more like a reno show so we took some proposal for the reno.. lotsa money involved. Must really think should we get a resale and fully renovate or touch up abit only or get a new hse few yrs later.. .. wah headache.. pple there are so scary.. they just grab u like nobody business.. Dear and I had a hard time turning them down.. and finally.. the last pit stop - we are back to where we had the 2 mins chats…

We sat down and that’s it. Nothing else to say anymore.. Conclusion is we signed up the bridal package on the very spot, at our very first bridal stop... ‘__’ we just feel that it seems like it’s fated this way…

Basically this package has everything like other bridal shop just that we get a wedding planner to guide us along till our Big Day, so kinda lessen our planning work, I suppose so… cross our fingers.. In the first place, we both keep turning down this package as we had never seen others but who knows I happened to turn my head and saw a photoshoot at the beach area and told Dear I like something like that.. Dear then told me the couple seems like Mr Swazenegar.. after some hints from the wedding planner.. Dear concluded it’s him… I guess that’s how we end up signing our names on the form ba…

Dear checked with this fren, this bridal shop seems ok, I checked online, comments were good on our wedding planner.. so I know we’ll have a smooth process from now onwards.

P/S : checked out the package with 2 colleagues. Quite happy to know that it’s about the same package for the same price and one of them also signed up on their first bridal stop! Heeehee…

House hunting begins again

After stopping for about a month, our house huntingexercise start again.
We applied for BTO Woodlands, tehen we apply for half yearly sale and lastly The Peak at Toa Payoh.... and now we are looking into resale flat at Sembawang....

This morning we went down to Simei to view the new DBSS launch by Simlian but when we got there, the waiting time was approximately 3hrs just to view the showflat!!!!
According to the website, book starts on 21st April but when we were there this morning, booking actually starts. Since there were only 360 units, we assume all units were be sold by today therefore we left without viewing....

In the afternoon while we were viewing the units at Sembawang, we came across 1 unit with Italy tiles and Dear was so glued to it.... It was something we never seen before and walking on it feel so comfortable....

After viewing, we left for our usual gym and after our gym, we returned to Sembawang again to continue with the viewing. This time, we came across 1 unit which has almost everything we wanted. The location was good, the kitchen cabinet was new except but.... the flooring is laminated instead of tiles....

In the evening, we attended Joey Yung concert at Max Pavilion. this is the second we are back again here. First time was to watch Elva concert and we really enjoyed very much. As for Joey's concert.... mm..... the constume was great, the dance was great but we were not familair with her song and most of it were cantonese.... From the response of the audience, I guess most of them weren't too excited about the concert too except some of the die hard fans cheering for her right below the stage.....

After the concert, we drive to Changi Airport Terminal 3 for our favourite fried chick, Popeye... Suppose to order 2 pieces of chicken but end up ordering 3 pieces heehee.... can't resist the temptation....

Sakura Sushi

Hmm.. Dear is craving for a buffet again so he suggested Kushinbo but he needs to work late tonight so end up we decided to go Sakura Sushi again. I asked the gals next door to join us too.. I was like a chaffuer today as bro is reaching home later, I drove the kids to YCK first then return to fetch bro while Dear left office only at 630pm...

Poor Dear.. he must be hungry and tired cos he reached only ard 8pm due to bad traffic jam. The kids keep asking me.. "Uncle Alson not coming already is it?"... Finally we started having our buffet... the spread was the same as previous.. end of it, we felt not shoik enuf somehow... unlike Kushinbo...

This Xiao Mei ah... was so proud to tell her Uncle Alson that she drank 3 glass of water and next thing is she almost puke as she's eating the salmon.. end up she puke out all the water she had... greedy gal.. can tell this meal was very worth it as the gals ate more than usual...

Guess where we celebrate our 11th month anniversary...

This is the most special place... a temple.

Dear gotta send his parents to the temple and I didn't wanna join as I'm not sure how long it's gonna take and his aunts are there too.. paiseh ler.. So end up I kept watching Boys Over Flowers... so nice... heehee.. Dear keep calling me when he's there and I can tell he's quite bored.. So he came over and fetch me and I accompanied him there till the praying session is all over...

Then we went to J8 window shopping and I get to eat my favourite Yami Yoghurt! Wonderful! After that we went to Dear's house and prepared some juices. Finally we went home to shower Miko and watch tv...

Sentosa Here we come

Finally after so many months, we are back to Sentosa, Siloso beach again.Everything in Sentosa seems to be more expensive than before,even the parking fee increase by 3 times...

We found a nice spot under the shelter and start the day by having our breakfast Dear brought. The sun was very strong today... could feel the heat biting into the skin. Dear was hiding under the shadow of the shelter but she forgot to hide her legs... so by end of the day, only her legs were tanned.

Whenever Miko saw other dogs off leash, she would bark and bark... getting everyone's attention. So as usal, we bring her for a swim and suprisingly, this time our gal actually walk into the sea by herself but too bad she turned back after a short swim... lazy gal...

It was a relaxing and sunny afternnon, having ice-box on the beach was even wonderful. We have chilled water at all times... its like having a fridge by our side.. With the strong heat waves hittingon us, we finished all our water by 1pm and decided to head for home as I was already well-cooked...Mmm.. next trip, must bring more water... maybe ice-cream too heehee....

There was a long queue for the shower cubical so I decided to use the open area for showering. When I walked out of the toilet, I realised that people outside the toilet can actually peek in... Oops.. wonder if anyone took phto of my sexy butt and post on the net....

Movie : Fast and Furious

Finally I can collect my repaired N82.. and hope this time it's really working fine..

Met Dear at Causeway Point and thereafter went to his house for dinner... yummy.. there's meatballs again... As Eric and Cecilia is there, Dear jio them for movie @ J8. Prior that we went to get our ingredients for Ham and Potato Bake tmr.. for Da Jie's Birthday...

The was reall fast and anxious... the theatre was kinda cold tonight and I was all over Dear throughout the show... *warmth*....

Class 95FM Dog Walk

Never attended a dog walk before. Always wanted to bring Miko but never had that chance. Dear told me about this dog walk at Bishan Park Dog Run, finally the day has arrived.. Miko really can go now.. no more empty promises to her.. heehee..

Gosh, 300 goodies bags to give away starting from 830am. We woke up so early at reached ard 8am. Oops.. the queue is quite long already.. quickly pull Miko to join the queue and she was tired queuing, got so impatient that she keep wanting us to carry her.. bummer!!

Finally the DJs - Ven, FD and Glenn have arrived and started the programme. We got our goodies bag but there are still plenty to go so we decided to hide somewhere from the crowd and sun.. Ok, FD says put on the scarf on your dog and starts the walk!

Chey.. the walk is so short only.. but too many people that we just gotta follow the flow... the DJs shooed all of us into the dog run area. Miko was so tired that while she was drinking water, someone came and join in the fun. Well, funny thing is she's so well-behaved this time that she didn't disturb other dogs and no barking woof woof at all... WOOF WOOF! Way to go gal...

Ok, seems like nothing much after the walk.. we decided to leave...

Miko was panting like crazy but I believed she enjoyed today very much. We showered her and she immediately went into a deep sleep after all the walking.. and we slipped out for our weekend window shopping...

Who drug our Lagsane??

It's Friday again so it's our cooking day... Dear wanted to try Lagsane again and it's gonna be a tiring night... as we have to cook the bolognese sauce again.. Can't waste time, let's get to work!

Hmm.. this time we switched role somehow. Dear prepares while I cook, normally I let him do the cooking cos he will nag at the way I cook like "So little oil?", "Food no oil not nice one", "Healthy food never taste good", "Add more salt la", so let him take over is a better choise - less noise pollution.. heehee.. Dear is someone who is particular over the taste. For me, as healthy as possible...

Eventually I let Dear took over. Do you know he drinks our red wine as he pours them into our sauce as seasoning... sometimes I wonder the wine is for cooking or drinking.. Nice!! Dear said this time the sauce turns out the best.

Ok time to layers the Lagsane, iya, think the sauce too much, we managed to put 2 piece of Lagsane only. Bechamel sauce was so so only, think we didn't cook long enough? Not thick enough this time or maybe not enough flour..

Wooh.. this meal is really heavy and sleepy.. right after the meal, we just simply dozed off immediately and just can't wake up after that.. it feels as if we were being drugged... scary meal...

Miko slipped off my hands!!

Dear and I brought our gal for a walk at East Coast as I was not feeling well but craving for Burger King. Took us a long while to find seats that are suitable for Miko cos we do not want her to disturb others and for us as we need some lights to see what we are eating. I tied Miko to my Adidas sling bag as we ate. Ok almost done.. time for a slow walk to digest our food.. SNAP!! Miko ran right away as I was trying to adjust the leash. Dear and I gave chase and Miko went to disturbed others and some even screamed!! Dear was so near her but Miko managed to slip away again and she eventually ran up a stairs that lead to an arcade.. as I was running up the stairs I can hear people screaming again!! Oh NO!!! I saw her running right towards me and tried to block her but she saw it coming and slipped off my hand again! Argghhhh!! I'm panicking like crazy and smart gal, she ran down the stairs.. it's 3 storey high u know.. can u imagine how tired we are...

Shit!! I lost my gal... I can't see where she is when I reached the ground floor.. I'm already bursting out already and really felt I'm gonna lose her this time round and I was out of breath, I know I just can't run anymore... and simply just asked "Where is she" to whoever I can see.. A man in light blue ran towards me and asked "Mam, what's her name?" I said "Miko" and he pointed Miko to me.. she actually ran back to where we had our supper.. Dear came down from the arcade and I pointed him the direction and I'm so blessed, the man in light blue and his friend said they'll help us..

3 men ran towards Miko and managed to block her and Dear finally grabbed hold her collar and she's back in our arms again... I was already shivering from fear and thanks to the 2 men for their help. We scolded and smacked Miko for purposely running away from our hands when we are near her..

I just can't lose this gal this way. I think my whole world will simply collapsed...

P/S : Not sure who will get to read this post. But for those who are disturbed by Miko on 27 Mar night at East Coast Park near the Burger King and Arcade, kindly accept my sincere apologies. I would like to thank the 2 men who rendered their assistance too.. If not for them, we might not be able to grab our gal back safely...

Thanks to my Dear for running after our gal too. I'm just so glad we have our gal back...

Has Miko really grown old?

Miko was extremely tired one night that Dear and I was wondering why. She simply sleeps all the way for about 2 hours w/o waking up. Dear said maybe Miko is really old liao… Even when Mom came hold that night, Miko just pop up her head and immediately went to sleep in her DogHouse.. Mom was being cheeky said Miko is so rude… heehee Funny thing is when Dear left my house, Miko didn’t even realized it which is so impossible! Who knows about 10 mins after Dear left, Miko woke up and was running up and down to whole house to look for her beloved Kor Kor who went missing when she’s dreaming…

This morning as usual, Miko sleeps at her notty chair whenever I let her out of my room. Funny thing is I stroke her, talk to her but her eyes just remained wide open and she’s not moving at all.. I told Mom saying our gal is dead.. Mom said she’s old already, lazy to move now… and I started to act as if I’m hitting her to unfreeze her accupoint to make her move again and she really moves after that.. heehee..

Don’t know why I’m simply not in the mood to work today as I was missing my gal.. was talking to Dear last night over our future house and chances that Miko may not stay with us… I just don’t like the idea Miko is not by my side somehow… How I wish Miko is right next to me now… I still remember when I return to work on 5 Jan after a long break in end Dec.. I was not in the mood to work too cos I misses Miko so much cos of her expression in the morning when bid good-bye to me.. it was an expression that says “Huh? Jie Jie, you going to work today” No more at home with me?”

I believe Miko has really grown old cos I noticed quite a lot of change in her. She’s more well-behaved now and she knows how to stay at the door or returns home when we told her she had enough walking at the garden… also she begs for food using her expression now, no longer using barking and her hands. Then she tends to sleep more nowadays and she gives in to us sometimes, no longer so stubborn… Well, she’s almost 4 yrs old which is equivalent to 28 yrs of human life… Or maybe she licks too much of her Kor Kor saliver that she’s beginning to sleep more like her Kor Kor too… Oh no!!

Miko on the loose!

I don’t know how to describe my feelings over Miko now but I’m really over the heels cos Miko no longer needs to be leashed up when my whole family is around! Miko used to get leash up at the kitchen while Mom prepares the lunch/dinner and Miko barks and barks non-stop, simply non-stop until I stay with her at the Kitchen. We used to hit/scold her to ask her to keep quiet cos she’s extremely loud. Mom decided to try to let loose Miko one day and it works! Miko has stopped disturbing the kids and simply ignores them now.. weird gal.. But Mom and I felt that Miko has really grown up or should we say grown old.. We noticed that she has been well-behaved nowadays and Miko simply has changed except for 1 habit – her greediness remains the same when she just came into the Ng’s Family.

The kiddoes enjoy Miko walking here and there except Xiao Fei Mei and Ah Ju. Xiao Fei Mei still can’t accept Miko and Ah Ju.. the poor boy.. Miko is as tall as him of cos Miko looks like a giant to him and Miko also knows who she can bullies.. seeing Ah Ju so small, this greedy gal has the cheek to steal his food whenever he’s holding something on his hand and Ah Ju will be complaining non-stop. I think so far the bravest gal is Xiao Mei who is not afraid of Miko jumping on her body now.

Dear and I also brought Miko and all the kiddoes out for a walk lately and they all enjoyed it but poor Miko, can you imagine 2 person leashing her the same time, she was so confused over who to follow… this is my 1st time seeing a dog being leashed up by 2 leash… poor gal.

I really hope Miko can roam around the house from now onwards but I think with strangers as in non-Ng’s Family members I think she still needs more time..

一场欢喜一空

We've been looking around for houses since early this year and it's be ups and down for us.. First we were viewing resale condo then realised those within our budget are of no good location... Who knows HDB has BTO and we were so excited about it that we applied it on the last 2nd day after much consideration on the location - a place we both are not familiar with and seems quite ulu to us too.

Recently Dear's father decided to take his name out his current flat if we decided to get a HDB.. I'm so happy.. we started checking out resale at our current location. My location price is simply too high.. Dear's location price is ok... and we knew what kind of house that we would like to have.

As we never thought of resale HDB so I decided to check out the rules and regulation and found out gotta provide the ROM cert upon resale completion as we are applying the housing grant... sharks!! It's still early to our ROM and we decided to delay the viewing again...

Dunno why there's so many ups and down for us in getting our dream house.. it's simply so cumbersome... it's happiness for us then followed by sadness and emptiness now... all we can do is wait and discuss further... sigh..

Miko slipped out the wooden gate!!!

Came home this afternoon and saw Miko hanging out at the garden as 3rd Bro family is leaving.. The gals told me Miko went Kai Kai this morning and made Mommy ran after her like crazy woman. Someone has forgotten to close the wooden gate properly and our clever gal Miko managed to slipped out the gap and off she went! Mom found one and gave chase across 2nd storey to the lift area, then to opp block and was calling out for her at the same time. Miko someone stopped and turned back towards Mom but when she get nearer, she ran again!! Haha… I find it funny but Mom was screaming at me as I laughed.. Mom said lucky Miko didn’t gave chase to the cats else….. Finally Mom managed to get hold of our cheeky gal and gave her 2 tight slaps on her bum and carried her home…
Mom told me Dad made fun of her by saying this to Miko :“Miko ah, you made Mommy ran till Mommy puff puff puff non-stop ah!”

Miko ah Miko…

Mom called me at work this morning and screamed at me saying that Miko poo on our dining table. This morning we were asking each other what’s the smell lingering in our house and we concluded it’s Mom’s belachan cos she recently prepared belachan chilli. Who knows.. it’s actually Miko’s shit!!

Mom warned me that 1 more time the same thing happened she gonna kick Miko out of the house and Miko will have to leave Ng’s Family and move in to Goh’s Family… I do not wish to think further… sigh..

Was telling about Dear about this incident :
Me : Our Miko poo on dining table this morning and my mom killed her…
Dear : Ok I scold her tonight. Let’s bring our girl out for a walk tonight
Me : Okie. I think I’ll buy 2 canes for her this weekend
Dear : Wa.. cannot use newspaper?
Me : We used but she don’t learn. I’m gonna try cane. This is my 1st time buying cane.. Speechless.
Dear : Okie.. We see if it can improve her discipline. But must aim properly.
Me : Laughing at the statement “must aim properly”..

I can tell Dear really dote on Miko alot but this Miko she’s simply a monster!! Never learn.

Sakura Buffet @ YCK

It’s Dear MBO today and wanted to treat him to Tony Roma’s as there’s a discount going on and it’s very worth it. However Lulu asked if we wanna join them for the Sakura Buffet and we decided to give Tony another miss..

Dear picked me from office and was telling me that actually he wanted to go Ellenborough or instead as he has craving for buffet.. well, Dear gotten his wish..

The buffet spread was very good as compare to Clementi and TPY branch. Dear said it’s the best spread among the 3 branches. I can tell the kids enjoyed it very much especially Ah Ju… see how much he enjoyed his dessert…

I asked Ah Ju to join Dear’s car for the ride home and Xiao Pang and Xiao Mei joined us. The 3 of them enjoyed the ride so much as the backseat was very slippery and they were as if taking a roller coaster ride where they were being thrown to the left, right, back and front as Dear purposely drive a little rough and the ride was filled with laughter and “wooo…”, “wooooooh”… “wooooooooooooooooooh”…

Happy Belated V-Day

As it's recession period, we decided to be frugal so we have an understanding that we'll get gift for each other only something that we need or like but not for the sake of festive season or special occasion.

I teased Dear am I gonna expect a V-Day card next year as he said he'll be making me one this yr which I've never get to see it till now..

As I'm blogging now, someone is busy making the card and said he'll present to me tmr... I'll keep my fingers cross and don't harp too high hopes on it again...

Chicken and Tuna Pies

Wooohhh.. This is our first time baking 28 pies which took us about 4 hours to prepare as our oven is a little too small - it can bake maximum 11 pies at one time only.. sigh...

The chicken pie was good but the tuna pie was kinda dry so we need to add mayo into it next time round. Wonder will we bake so many pies again next time. Dear said unless someone orders from us.. heehee.. very difficult...

Brot to work the next day for colleagues to try and all commented nice.. was happy to hear that. Think we'll try curry puff next.

Me : Wahahaha!! I burst out laughing so loudly and almost died on the spot!

Xiao Pang : Heeheee… (when she sees me making fun of Dear)

Sleepyhead

As I started this new blog today... a Sleepyhead is already showing me his expertise.. that is to sleep anytime and anywhere... whenever he wants it. Dear just doze off on my lap as I created this new blog for both of us. He's the one who chose Sleepyhead saying he loves sleeping so much.. simply suits him! Haha...

Xiao Bai backside got hurt!! Ouch!

Dear was supposed to meet Mr Mahjong and who knows on the way to his house, Dear met with an accident where 2 cars behind him knocked onto Xiao Bai’s butt! Lucky Dear is fine but poor Xiao Bai, he needs an operation as Dear can’t open up his butt at all.. I think Dear must be really sad… lucky Mr Mahjong is able to advice him what to do cos Dear is due for Car Insurance renewal. Dear end up drinking at Boat Quay with Mr Mahjong while I was busy shopping with Elephant. Dear was complaining that he keep saying he wants other to knock BUT juuuuuust a little knock on Xiao Bai’s butt so that he can change the boot and now it really happens and it’s a serious one… What a way to prepare for Lunar New Year.

8 months anniversary

It’s a new year – Year 2009, also it’s the new “fa” beginning for us.. we’ve been together for 8 months.. Dear was saying we’ll “fa, fa fa”! Heehee..

So how did we celebrate today? It’s recession period, Dear no more OT, our jobs not stable.. So we had to be frugal now… Dear suggested Farm Café and Pork Knuckles but end up we went to Popeyes and Biscuits @ The Flyer as we are cutting cost. The meal cost us only 14.80 bucks as compared to around 50 bucks at Farm Café or Pork Knuckles… what a great choice we had! Heehee…

Hmm… I enjoyed today’s celebration even though it’s just a quick dinner and a slow and short walk but at least we are strolling at a place we both have not been before… I think at the same time we’ve been to Marina Barrage too… cos we are not sure where is the park where we can stroll. It was a good timing to go to The Flyer now as it has temporarily ceased operation and there’s no queue at Popeyes at all unlike Changi Airport – no seats and long queue…

I wonder where will we celebrate at for our next anniversary…

They started their adult life...

After graduation in 1999, both of them started working. The guy carried on the JSPS till 2003 as part of a bond. During these years, this guy went to Indonesia and Australia for detachment. After ORD, this guy decided to give hawker a try with his parents but it didn't last long and he took up an opportunity in manufacturing industry in 2004. Besides working, this guy's life is mainly hanging out at Boat Quay - drink, smoke and fool around, a place where the gal never patronise at all... Of cos, besides the fun he has, he was obsessed to his work as well by lotsa OT for almost 365 days non-stop... sometimes he don't even go home at all, drink at Boat Quay after work then return to office to work and carry on the same lifestyle and slowly he growed older and older....

In year 2000, the gal decided to start her 1st job in Temasek Polytechnic itself and she stayed and finished a project that lasted 3 years.. She also upgraded herself with a part-time degree... She changed job to a hospital followed by a Russian local company where she loves this job and dedicated all her time including weekend to it. Too bad pay's too low she decided to move to an insurance industry dealing with IT which is so new to her... She started learning new stuff in this company till now.. everyday is a learning curve to her...

During these few years, the gal bumped into few primary school friends like Nic, Bernard, Maggie... And the guy bumped into Maggie. This 2 person however never get to bump into each other... until a day in Mar 2008. Maggie introduced the guy to they gal over Friendster... and this is how the gal felt at that moment -

Gal : via the Friendster photos, can’t recognise him at all, looks familiar and a stranger at the same time. Well, 1st impression of him is a typical Beng..

Guy : wa... she put on so much weight ah, she used to be very tall and slim one... iyo...

Somehow this 2 person started to chat over MSN and get to know each other better...

A Polytechnic Story...

1996 - Guy studied Singapore Polytechnic and took up Joint SAF Polytechnic Scholarship (JSPS) for 3 years... He led his own life with lotsa smoking, drinking and gambling...

1997 - Gal studied in Temasek Polytechnic for 3 years... She had a simple life by taking up part-time job as tuition teacher...

Their path never crossed at all...

A Secondary School Story...

1992 - The gal graduated to Braddell Secondary School and studied for 5 years and graduated... The boy graduated to Serangoon Garden Technical School and studied for 4 years and graduated. Even though this 2 little kids stayed at the same vicinity - Ang Mo Kio and just few blocks away, they never bumped into each other before and of cos their path didn't crossed again... However, in year 1996, the guy moved to Yishun. I think it's even harder for the 2 of them to bump into each other...

A Primary School Story...

This is how it goes...

1989 - 2 little kids moved on to class 4/3 in Jing Shan Primary School. Everyone are new faces to one another. Life is the same as the rest of the little kids. They studied, played, took many many examination and finally they both graduated in 1991. The 2 little kids never played together before. The gal has her own group of friends from her class whom she hangs out often to the Library and cycling.. as for the boy, he has his own group of friends too but mainly is his neighbours. Their path of fun and laughter never crossed in the 3 whole years... and they moved on to different secondary school...
